2026 Continuing Education Conference
2026 CPS Continuing Education Conference: A Celebration of Collaboration and Excellence
The 2026 Certified Peer Specialist–Parent and Youth (CPS-P/Y) Continuing Education Conference, hosted by Georgia Parent Support Network (GPSN), was held on July 17–18, 2026, at the Hilton Peachtree City Atlanta Hotel & Conference Center. Bringing together peer professionals, presenters, exhibitors, and community partners from across Georgia, the conference once again demonstrated the strength and dedication of the state's peer support workforce.
This year's conference welcomed 250 registered participants, with 193 attendees accessing the EventMobi platform and 176 participants checking in onsite. Attendees had the opportunity to choose from 25 educational sessions led by 15 exceptional speakers, covering topics including ethics, documentation, suicide prevention, self-care, leadership, mandated reporting, workforce development, and emerging best practices in peer support.
The success of the conference was made possible through the dedication of the conference planning team, whose commitment, creativity, and countless hours of preparation ensured a seamless and engaging experience for every participant. From coordinating speakers and educational content to managing registration, technology, hospitality, logistics, exhibitors, and volunteers, the planning team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to create an event that reflected GPSN's commitment to excellence.
Participants expressed overwhelmingly positive feedback, highlighting the quality of the educational sessions, inspiring keynote presentations, opportunities to network with peers from across the state, and the welcoming, supportive atmosphere. Many shared that they left the conference with renewed inspiration, practical tools to strengthen their work, and a deeper connection to Georgia's growing peer support community.

The enthusiasm generated during this year's event has already paved the way for the future. We are excited to announce that the 2027 CPS Continuing Education Conference is already scheduled for July 15–17, 2027. We look forward to welcoming our peer community back for another exceptional opportunity to learn, connect, and grow together.
